If you run a business using Reply

In Instagram, open your settings, find Apps and websites, and remove Reply. We then delete your access token and your stored messages. You can also write to [email protected] from the email or Instagram account you connected.

If you messaged a business that uses Reply

Write to [email protected] with your Instagram username and the name of the business. We will delete the messages we hold from you and confirm by email.

How long it takes

We complete deletion within 30 days. Copies in backups are removed when those backups expire.
